| Since its creation, El Circo del Mundo has successfully developed an experience that uses the circus art with educative and social aims.
While spreading the postulates of the “New Circus”, it delivers theatrical propositions that enriches the language and open for students unsuspected expressive manifestations. It turns to account the characteristics of the circus to offer to the youth the challenge of the controlled risk instead of the hazardous and futureless risk of the street.
El Circo del Mundo conceives circus as a free, magic and play space, where rigour, discipline and perseverance are of highest importance, and that delivers concrete results which can be experienced by the student and his environment. In this way, it offers a non traditional instrument to stimulate self-esteem, to promote sense of humour and to encourage the feeling of belonging.
